Draft Council conclusions on Child Poverty

In the run up to the forthcoming Commission Recommendation on Child Poverty and Well-being, and following the Social Protection Committee’s report on the issue, the current Presidency of the Council of the European Union prepared a set of draft Council Conclusions on the subject of "Preventing and tackling child poverty and social exclusion and promoting children’s well-being". This article outlines some of the key messages of the proposed text.
