Monika Kosinska

Secretary General
Monika joined EPHA in February 2008 and she leads the Secretariat. Monika represents EPHA and its member in its work with European policy and decision makers and provides an overall steer for the work programme and management of the Secretariat.
Monika also oversees the management of EU and other funded projects, the management of the EPHA team and the Communication and Advocacy strategies.

Luiza Bara

Director of Policy and Strategy
Luiza joined EPHA in March 2009 and is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the organisation’s Work Programme.
Her responsibilities include policy coordination and engagement, policy-related external relations and partnership development, EU and public health training delivery, management of the interaction with the European institutions and civil society platforms, as well as managing the work of the Policy Officers and Policy Assistants. Frazer Goodwin

Global Health Manager
Frazer Goodwin has been working with European Public Health Alliance since February 2007 and is now Project Manager for Global Health managing EPHA’s contribution to Action for Global Health - a project coordinated by Action Aid International. This five year project aims to ensure an Effective European contribution to achieving the Millennium Development Goals, especially the three health related ones.

Murielle Chiltz

Operations & Finance Manager
A French national, Murielle has graduated in Economics & Finance at Paris IX (Dauphine) University. She has experience of working several years in the European Commission and in a large network of local and regional authorities dealing with sustainable development.
At EPHA, she is in charge of the office management, human resources, financial matters, budgets and the accountancy of the organisation as well as memberships issues.

Sascha Marschang

Governance and Membership Coordinator
Sascha joined EPHA in September 2009. A dual German and Canadian citizen, he holds a Masters degree in Communication and Cultural Studies from York University (Toronto) focusing on EU migration issues. Prior to working at EPHA he gained experience in public and private sector organisations in Brussels, Canada, and the U.K.

Robert Pederson

Agriculture & Health Manager Robert Pederson has been working with EPHA since January 2010. He manages the Agriculture and Health project, EPHA’s contribution to the European Public Health and Agriculture Consortium. The goal of the project is to work towards a more health promoting Common Agriculture Policy (CAP).

Jo Jewell

Policy Officer for Health Determinants
Jo Jewell joined EPHA in September 2008, and has been working as Policy Officer for Health Determinants since March 2009. He graduated from Trinity College Dublin where he completed a degree in European Studies with Russian.
He has a strong interest in the social politics of health and health-related development issues. He is also particularly interested in Eastern Europe, having spent a year studying in Moscow.

Dorota Sienkiewicz

Policy Officer for Global Health
Dorota joined EPHA in May 2009 and is Policy Officer for Global Health, providing advocacy for the project Action for Global Health . She graduated from the University of Amsterdam in Social Psychology as well as from Free University Amsterdam in International Public Health. Alison Abrahams

Membership and Communication Officer
Alison joined EPHA in February 2010.
Background Alison Abrahams joined EPHA in February 2010 as the Membership and Communications Officer. She graduated from the University of Birmingham where she completed a degree in French and Italian in 2009. Prior to joining EPHA, Alison worked for a small consultancy in Brussels working exclusively with NGOs, organising events.

Doriane Fuchs

Policy Assistant
Doriane joined EPHA in October 2009 as a Policy assistant for Health Determinants.
Background
She graduated from the “Institut des Hautes Etudes Européennes” in Strasbourg where she holds two masters in law and European studies. She has a strong interest for social Europe, more particularly in health policies.
Before joining EPHA, she worked as a Policy Assistant on social policies for 8 months at the European Disability Forum.
