Monika Kosinska

Secretary General
Monika joined EPHA in February 2008 and she leads the Secretariat. Monika represents EPHA and its member in its work with European policy and decision makers and provides an overall steer for the work programme and management of the Secretariat.
Monika also oversees the management of EU and other funded projects, the management of the EPHA team and the Communication and Advocacy strategies.

New EPHA’s Secretary General

EPHA is delighted to announce the appointment of its new Secretary General, Monika Danuta Kosińska, who will take up the function on 1 February 2008.
Monika has experience in managing teams, networking and advocacy in the public and private sector. She has extensive knowledge of public health issues at EU and national level. Caroline Bollars

EU Policy Manager
Caroline joined EPHA in July 2007 and she manages the policy activities of the Secretariat. Caroline plays a central role in enhancing the capacity of EPHA members to engage with policy making at EU level.
Caroline is also responsible of the Secretariat of the Health and Consumer Intergroup in the European Parliament, together with the European Consumers’ Organisation (BEUC).

Frazer Goodwin

Policy & Advocacy Officer
Frazer has been working with EPHA since February 2007. He is a policy and advocacy officer working on global health issues and provides EPHA’s contribution to the European Network on Global Health - a project coordinated by Action Aid International. This five year project aims to ensure an Effective European Contribution to achieving the Millennium development goals, especially the three health related ones.

Murielle Chiltz

Office Manager - Finance Officer
A French national, Murielle has graduated in Economics & Finance at Paris IX (Dauphine) University. She has experience of working several years in the European Commission and in a large network of local and regional authorities dealing with sustainable development.
At EPHA, she is in charge of the office management, financial matters and budgets and the accountancy of the organisation as well as memberships issues.

Jessica Imbert

Jessica Imbert joined EPHA in January 2008 as a Policy and Legal Assistant. She graduated in Public Law. After an exchange year at the Law Faculty of Stockholm, she concluded a Master’s Degree in International and European law.
She initiated and organised one of the very first simulations of the UN Security Council in France : the Grenoble Model United Nations. Her initiative has been carried on since then.
She has just returned from Asia where she spent a few months at the Delegation (...)

Susana Escuín Ordinas

Susana Escuín joined EPHA on the 4th February 2008 as a Communication assistant. After an exchange year at the Communication Faculty of Lugano, Switzerland, she concluded a Master’s Degree in Journalism at the University of Barcelona.
She has worked as a journalist for several years in different media communications and has also worked as a press photographer and correspondent.
Interested in social action, health and communication she is very motivated in taking an active part in EPHA (...)

Traineeship at EPHA

EPHA offers two kinds of internships:
a six-month traineeship (stage) for EU university graduates with a background on public health, European studies or social sciences.
ad hoc traineeships for students of public health, European studies or social sciences that need working experience as part of their studies (minimum 3 months).
