The World Health Organization (WHO) has released its first ever report highlighting children’s special susceptibility to harmful chemical exposures at different periods of their growth.

Fifteen top contestants demonstrated on 13 June 2007 in Vienna what a combination of simple technologies and community organisation can do to protect the environment for the sake of children’s health.

EPHA sister organisation EEN, the EPHA Environment Network, has launched a new website which will make available an overview of the efforts of NGOs and youth organisations involved in children’s environment and health in the 52 countries of the WHO European Region. EPHA is a partner in this project.
The website provides information about what civil society is doing to promote a better environment for children in Europe.
