2010 EPHA Annual General Assembly EPHA’s 2010 Annual General Assembly took place on 17-18 June 2010 in Brussels. More information on the 2010 AGA highlights, including the Annual Policy Coordination Meeting focusing on EPHA’s 5-Year Strategic Plan, the public debate on ’’What is Public Health ?’’, as well as the presentations is available to members here.

Annual General Assembly EPHA’s 2010 Annual General Assembly will take place on 17-18 June 2010 at the Martin’s Central Park Hotel on Boulevard Charlemagne in 1000 Brussels. More information on the event, including the draft agenda and location information is available here.
As part of the AGA, there will be an Extraordinary Election of two new Members to the Executive Board. More information on the elections can be found here.

Strategic Planning for EPHA EPHA continued its member consultation on the next planning period for the organisation. The two draft documents remain available and members are encouraged to contribute to the discussions. Please access information on the documents and the process here. These were discussed during a Health Determinants Strategic Interest Group with members, held on 14 April and during a team day on Friday 9 April.

Policy Coordination Meeting - On 3 February, EPHA held its first Policy Coordination Meeting of the year, which brought together various member organisations in order to discuss latest policy and advocacy developments in the public health field. The meeting was well attended by members and enjoyed a lively debate. More information is available here.

November was another extremely busy month for the Secretariat ; we organised three workshops and participated in another three and a plenary session at the Annual Public Health conference in Ĺódź, Poland, participated in a number of workshops and activities including on alcohol, global health and others, maintained our campaign for a Health Intergroup as well as the final successful push for the move of pharmaceutical and medical devices to the health Commissioner ! EPHA working meetings
On 1 September and 28 September EPHA had working meetings with the Jesuit Refugee Service with the aim of supporting their organisation of a European Conference on Destitution in early 2011. EPHA has agreed to be on the steering committee.
On 11 September EPHA organised a preparatory meeting with a number of NGOs in advance of the plenary meeting of the Platform for Diet, Physical Activity and Health. The background documents will be made available online shortly. (...)

EPHA working meetings
On 8 July EPHA organised a Working Group on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights. The minutes will be made available online shortly.
On 15 July, EPHA held a Policy Coordination Meeting for its member organisations. The minutes of the meeting are available here The meeting was complemented by an exchange of views between EPHA’s members and the Health Attaché of the Swedish Permanent Representation to the EU, organised by EPHA’s secretariat.
