We use open source software to run and maintain our web site. We also use Linux as operating system in our IT infrastructure.
Why we use open source
The basic idea behind open source is very simple. When programmers on the Internet can read, redistribute, and modify the source of a piece of software, it evolves. People improve it, people adapt it, people fix bugs.

Respecting the standards
This web site’s layout uses only the standards defined by the World Wide Web Consortium; all the positioning relies on a CSS stylesheet.
This offers several benefits:
the pages are lighter and therefore load faster,
the main content (on the middle column) loads first, before the other columns and the top menu.
Even if we worked to ensure the maximum of accessibility and usability, this site is best viewed with a minimum screen resolution of 1024x768x32bit (...)
