The "Update" Magazine

EPHA published a bimonthly magazine, the European Public Health Update, until June 2003.

Restricted funding has meant a review of EPHA´s publications policy with a greater attention to electronic means such as our website and our monthly electronic newsletter.

However, we plan to publish written material again in the future. Please visit this website regularly for more information.

Please note that the Update magazine is no longer printed due to lack of funding.
UPDATE is one of the most comprehensive sources of review and news on public health and health-related developments within the European Union. Each issue brings readers up-to-date with a current theme. For example, past issues have addressed health inequalities in Europe, health and the enlargement of the European Union, the role of patients’ groups, and the implications of EU chemical policy for health.

The European Public Health Update provides a valued information service to EPHA members, policy makers, health professionals and the health community at large. Its purpose is to:
