** Updated ** EPHA’s 2007 International Conference: Health in the Enlarged EU

The European Public Health Alliance (EPHA) concluded its three-year project "Building the Public Health Community across Europe" by organising an international conference. The conference "Health in the Enlarged EU" held in Bratislava on 16-17 April 2007, is settled by a final report now available.

EPHA organises a workshop on Better Regulation for Social NGOs

EPHA organised a workshop on Better Regulation as part of the Social Platform’s Annual Conference, "Renewing the guiding principles of the European Union" in Brussels on 5 December 2006.
The workshop entitled, "Protecting European Social Values through Better Regulation" was designed to give NGOs an understanding of the Better Regulation process and how it might effect their work.

Conference on "Tuberculosis - The Way Forward", London - 16 October 2006

EPHA member, the Royal College of Physicians (UK) and the British Thoracic Society organise a conference entitled Tuberculosis - The Way Forward on Monday 16 October 2006, in London.
The conference aims to provide an opportunity for those working in TB management, prevention and control to take stock of these developments, share experiences and ideas, and look forward to the next few years to reverse the UK’s increasing TB rates.

Conference: Belarus, our future neighbour

On Wednesday 19 November 2003, EPHA organised a conference in Brussels on behalf of the European Commission, DG EuropeAid. The event brought together 120 participants ranging from Commission officials, Ministries of Foreign Affairs from EU and CEE countries, international organisations and NGOS from the EU and Belarus.

An international "NGO Strategy Conference: Making our Environment Work for Children’s Health", jointly organised by the European Public Health Alliance and the European ECO-Forum, was held on the 15th-16th December 2003 in Brussels.
