European Charter for Health Equity - open for signatures through 2012


After being officially launched on 9 December 2010, the European Charter for Health Equity will be open for signatures for a year (end 2011). We invite all relevant stakeholders, organisations and institutions to sign the Charter. We count on your active involvement! We have just over 160 signatories on our list of supporters! EPHA launches a consultation on Policy Recommendations for Health Equity

Council Declaration on the European Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion: Working together to fight poverty in 2010 and beyond.


In December 2010, the European Council adopted a Council Declaration closing the European Year 2010 on combating poverty and social exclusion in the European Union. 2010 Citizens’ Agora on Crisis and Poverty.


The Citizens’ Agora represents a direct link between the European Parliament and European citizens. It offers an opportunity for mutual dialogue between those who make politics and policies and those whom those policies affect directly - citizens.
