EPHA’s contributions to chronic diseases consultations


With two major launches, April was an remarkable month in terms of chronic diseases developments - the Commission’s Consultation on the EU Reflection Process on Chronic Dises; and the World Health Organization (WHO) Consultation on a comprehensive global monitoring framework. EPHA responded to both consultations. Working towards developing a coherent food system?


On 1 March 2012, EUPHA hosted a one-day workshop to address the main issues towards developing a coherent food system. No added sugar to fruit juices in the EU any longer


The European Parliament and the Council agreed on a revision of the 2001 EU Directive on fruit juices and certain similar products intended for human consumption. EPHA Open Letter to the Ministers for Health of Ireland and Northern Ireland on Alcohol Minimum Pricing
