EPHA joins the campaign for a European Year to end violence against women

The European Women’s Lobby (EWL) has initiated a broad European campaing to call for a European Year on combating and preventing violence against women. 27 Social Affairs Ministers adopt the 2011-2020 European Pact for Gender Equity

On 7 March 2011, Social Affairs Ministers (EPSCO Council) adopted a new European Pact for Equality between Women and Men covering the period 2011-2020.
