The European Commission’s Consultative Forum on Environment & Health meeets in Brussels on 18-19 December 2003.

On the agenda are the 9 Baseline Reports produced by the Technical Working Groups (TWG) and which will be reviewed by the Consultative Forum on the basis of the "mandates" for the TWGs which are available on the following websites:

www.environmentandhealth.org

The reports will also be assessed in light of the "vision" and towards the "final goal" as explained in the "European Environment and Health Strategy" . Also attached brief background note on the Strategy.

The comments and statements made during the meeting will be considered to be included in the "Synthesis of Baseline Reports" that will be prepared by the Commission in early January.

The complete reports will be made available in the near future.

These documents are not available on the Commission’s DG Environment site.

Génon Jensen and Marie-Christine DeWolf will attend the Consultative Working Group meeting on 18-19 December, where they will be representing the EPHA Environmental Network, so if you have any comments to make, please use the forum below if yoiu have any comments on these documents.
