European & international health interviews and health examination surveys database

EPHA members might find the following database available online of interest.

This website currently represents an inventory of nationally and internationaly administered health surveys in EU Member States, EFTA countries and some countries of other regions (USA, Canada and Australia).

The National Public Health Institute (KTL), Finland and the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), the Netherlands have initiated the development of the database (1999-2000). KTL and the Scientific Institute of Public Health (IPH), Brussels have upgraded, adapted and updated the database (2001-2002). The European Commission financially supports this inventory as part of their Health Monitoring Programme.

The inventory goes back until surveys performed in 1991 and is continuously updated with the most recent surveys administered.
