UPDATE is one of the most comprehensive sources of review and news on public health and health-related developments within the European Union. Each issue brings readers up-to-date with a current theme. For example, past issues have addressed health inequalities in Europe, health and the enlargement of the European Union, the role of patients’ groups, and the implications of EU chemical policy for health.
Most issues of UPDATE contain information on the current EU Presidency contribution to health, and many include interviews with the relevant Health Minister. In addition, each issue provides news on EU proposals, adopted legislation, activities of EPHA and its members, and many other reports relating to significant developments affecting the health of people living in Europe.
UPDATE was published every two months in English and French. The main articles of the Update are published online on this web site.
