The workshop will include sessions on:
- the European Union and its institutions: how they really work,
- current EU hot topics impacting health,
- the role of advocacy and lobbying,
- the role of research and information,
- the role of civil society and other stakeholders,
- joined-up national and EU advocacy - case study from Poland.

An informal networking reception will be held on the evening on 22 February 2010.

Lunch and coffee/tea will be provided during the 2-day workshop. This event is organised by the European Public Health Alliance.
