Call for Information on the Addictiveness and Attractiveness of Tobacco Additives

The European Commission, in conjunction with the Scientific Committee on Emerging and Newly Identified Health Risks- SCENIHR, has launched a call for scientific information on addictiveness and attractiveness of tobacco additives, which is one of SCENIHR’s current mandates.

The SCENIHR is one of three independent non-food-related scientific committees coordinated by DG Sanco. The Committee provides scientific advice to the Commission on issues related to e.g. new technologies, medical devices, physical risks and methodologies of risk assessment.
