Doriane Fuchs

Policy Officer for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention

Doriane joined EPHA in October 2009 as a Policy assistant working on Health determinants. She is now Policy Officer on Health Promotion and Disease Prevention since April 2010.

Background

She graduated from the “Institut des Hautes Etudes Européennes” in Strasbourg, France, where she holds a master in law and European studies. Before that, she obtained a bachelor degree in economics and law.

Doriane has a strong interest for social Europe in general, and health and public health policies in particular.

Before joining EPHA, she worked on social policies for 8 months at the European Disability Forum, in Brussels.

Within EPHA, Doriane is responsible for health promotion and disease prevention. Her portfolio mainly covers the policy and advocacy work on nutrition, alcohol, tobacco, sexual and reproductive health and rights and injuries.

Being a native French speaker, Doriane speaks also English and German.
