Leonardo Palumbo

Policy Officer for EU Affairs

Leonardo Palumbo joined EPHA in October 2009 and is responsible for communications and research:

His responsibilities include monitoring policy developments in the EU Institutions, updating the website, assisting with the Policy Co-ordination Meetings, and providing support for the newsletter.

Background

Leonardo has a MA in Migration Studies from the University of Kent.

Before joining EPHA he worked in a refugee centre as a Case Worker and in communications for a network of NGOs working on migration related issues. He has a strong interest in migration and health, and providing services to marginalised groups.

Leonardo is a Italian and American citizen, and speaks French, Italian, and English, his mother tongue.
