For the European Parliament elections, Euronews (a major European news service) has launched an initiative in conjunction with YouTube to raise awareness among EU citizens of what is happening in European policy. Every day a citizen asks a question related to the EU which is then answered by a person working in that field in Europe.
For the question on Health care systems, Euronews turned to EPHA to take part and to answer one short question on cross-border care in Europe. The question: What can the EU do to make it possible for citizens to decide themselves to get medical treatment in the Member State of their choice. What can be done? What is done already?
