Clinical guidelines on rheumatoid arthritis have been produced by the National Collaborating Centre for Chronic Conditions (NCC-CC), which was funded by NICE and based at the Royal College of Physicians. From 1 April 2009 the NCC-CC was merged with three other National Collaborating Centres to form the National Clinical Guidelines Centre (NCGC), the largest clinical guidelines centre in Europe. More information on the NCGC is available at the Royal College of Physicians website
