As with many NGOs, we have lots of content that we want to distribute, our small staff is very busy and we have to allow our members to interact in a number of parallel working groups... and do we need to mention that we have a limited budget?

From the outset, Sydesy understood our problems, identified our needs and offered us what we wanted: a tool to communicate more effectively.

It boils down to:

- a simple to use publication tool for our web site,
- the same tool for our extranet (the members only area),
- an efficient mailing list system to stay in touch with our members and all our contacts.

They developed for us a simple ’look and feel’ that does what we need: Put the content first. Newcomers and regular visitors can see at a glance about all the latest health issues that we cover and how they can get involved.

Together, we structured this web site and its content. Sydesy performed the technical magic that made a smooth transition from old site and this one.

Moreover, they helped us to promote the new website, to understand better who our audiences are, what they are looking for and how to deliver those information services.

But best of all, we have the benefits of the open source:

- reliability and quality of the programmes,
- cheaper solutions,
- freedom to go and see another IT company.
