The European Commission, DG Secretariat-General (Unit SG.C.2 - Better Regulation and Impact Assessment) opened in July 2008 a public consultation on the draft Commission Guidelines for Impact Assessment.

Although the very tight deadline of this consultation, the EPHA Secretariat decided to respond because of the importance of impact assessments to support the related policy initiatives.
