Information to patients under the attention for the EPSCO meeting, 10 June 2008

Patient information is on the agenda of the Employment, Social policy, Health and Consumer Affairs Council meeting scheduled for Tuesday 10 June 2008.

A joint open letter:"Patient information by pharmaceutical companies comes up against almost unanimous opposition from civil society", endorsed by 18 Civil Society organisations was distributed to bring under the attention of the EPSCO Council meeting on 10 June 2008.

The letter is addressed to the Ministries of Health of EU Member States, the Permanent Representatives of the Member States in Bruxelles, and other interested parties.
