Meetings and events attended by EPHA
On 6 and 7 December, Caroline Bollars attended the second meeting of the European advisory board of the University of Maastricht for the Bachelor and Master on European Public Health.
On 6 December 2007, Daniela Negri attended the conference organised by the European Life Science Circle in the European Parliament in Brussels "The informed patient- What the European Union has to do" focused on the right of accessing objective information for treatment and medication. Monday 10 December 2007, Caroline participated in a meeting organised by the European Commission, DG Sanco and European Health Management Association (EHMA) to think about the use of structural funds for health gain. For more information, please read the report of the meeting.
Monday 10 December 2007, Frazer participated in a a meeting in Brussels organised by the European Comissions DG AIDCO presenting the work of the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Right to Health.
On Thursday 13 December 2007, Daniela Negri attended the event organised by Mental Health Europe (MHE) and the London School of Economics (LSE) on the Mental Health Economics European Network (MHEEN II) held in the West Midlands in Europe office in Brussels. On Thursday 13 December 2007 Frazer gave a presentation to the annual meeting of Eurostep on Transport Infrastructure, developmment, and social policy alternatives.
On Monday 17 December 2007 and Tuesday 18 December 2007 Frazer Goodwin and Tamsin Rose attended the annual meeting of the partners in Action for Global Health in Madrid. On Wednesday 19 2007 and Thursday 20 December 2007 Frazer remained in Madrid for a meeting of policy and advocacy officer of the Network to plan for activities of the network in 2008.

On 8 December 2007, Caroline attended a conference in Slovenia and gave a presentation about EPHA’s work. In the afternoon, Caroline did a workshop with participants of the conference to think about their role in the European Union related to public health.
