The second round of Healthy Workplace Initiative sees the European Agency for Health and Safety at work (OSHA) taking action in the 12 new member states as well as in Croatia and Turkey.
The objective of OSHA is to promote health and safety policies in small business. The central message that OSHA wants to convey is that good health and safety is fundamental for company success. The long term benefits for companies engaging in risk prevention are three-fold:
they minimise production losses resulting from injuries or diseases
they increase their increase their productivity
they reduce costs
The seminars are an opportunity to meet high level professionals from the occupational safety and health sector as well as employers and employees who have already reaped the benefits of improved safety and health at work. Updates on health and safety regulations, risk assessments, case studies and useful contacts for EU support will also be provided.
To register to a free seminar, please check OSHA’s seminar calendar.
