The European Public Health Alliance (EPHA) represents over 100 non-governmental and other not-for-profit organisations working in support of health in Europe. One third of EPHA members are pan-European or international networks.

EPHA aims to promote and protect the health interests of all people living in Europe and to strengthen the dialogue between the EU institutions, citizens and NGOs in support of healthy public policies.

EPHA operates a secretariat in Brussels, with 7 to 9 salaried and voluntary staff.

The Secretary General has a number of unique, but also diverse tasks and responsibilities. He/she serves as a key representative of the organisation and as an advocate on public health in Europe. He /she also supervises the Secretariat and serves as an intermediary between EPHA members, the Executive Board and the Secretariat.
