The second Voice Mobility award goes to the partners of the Austrian Mobility Management for Schools project. By improving road safety around schools, the campaign has aimed at reducing car traffic levels and encouraging more children to walk or cycle to school. The successful pilot project implemented in the city of Graz has led to a nationwide campaign involving 50 schools. The final objective is to have every school in the country join the mobility programme. This is a worthy initiative which gives future generations top priority.
