The aim of the workshop is to bring together key people from the health and environment sectors to exchange views, ideas and look at ways that HEAL, CHE and key constituencies can collaborate and complement each other’s work in 2007. The workshop will also provide an ideal opportunity to reflect on the ARTAC congress which is taking place in Paris the day before.

The issues intended for discussion are:

- Ways to increase engagement of research, health communities, and health-impacted groups on environmental health issues

- Tools & strategies to publicise or highlight scientific evidence on environmental health effects

- How to build connections between CHE, HEAL and other interested constituencies/organisations

- Identify top priorities, key topics and emerging common interests for joint collaboration; determine initiatives to pursue in 2007 and the future.

- The differences & similarities of constituencies working on environmental health in US & EU and how we can complement each other’s work.
