This two day meeting will focus on regulatory issues in TB drug development and will include topics such as:

- Update of the Global TB Drug Development Portfolio

- Key Issues in the Critical Path to TB Drug Registration

- Biomarkers for TB Drug Development

- Design and Challenges for Pivotal Trials

- Developing Regimens Containing Multiple Novel Agents

- Challenges in TB Drug Development for Special Populations - HIV/TB coinfection, MDR-TB, pediatric TB

- Conducting Registration Trials in High Burden Countries - Forging collaborations and building infrastructure

- Issues in TB Drug Pharmacovigilance

- Lessons learned from HIV drug development

The event is organised by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Global Alliance for TB Drug Development (TB Alliance), Treatment Action Group (TAG), and The Stop TB Partnership Working Group on New Drugs.
