The aim is to produce an online database where potential project partners would be registered, in order to further improve the link between science and society.
Although the "who’s who" is not online yet, stakeholders that have an interest in research can contact DG Research to be added to the Directory.
This Directory will complement the SPHERE project, Strenghtening Public Health Research in Europe, led by the Faculty of Public Health of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom. It aims to provide guidance on how the public health research can be strenghtened and effectively integrated with European health policy. A survey amongst civil society organisations will be carried out and the results of the project will be published on the projects website in mid 2006.
