It is expected that countries would then integrate the priorities for action into national policies.
In order to keep up with the momentum created by the launch of the Green Paper on Mental Health by the European Commission, Mental Health Europe invites NGOs to report on the progress made at national level towards the goals set out in the WHO Declaration. They are particularly interested in the way NGOs and users organisations are involved in setting and implementing national agenda.

It is expected that Member States would focus their action on Mental health promotion and prevention, which is the issues that the EMIP project aims to enhance.
The EU-funded EMIP project - Implementation of mental health promotion and prevention policies and strategies in EU member states and applicant countries - brings together eight European networks and 12 national partners committed to sharing models of good practice on mental health promotion and prevention.
The aim is to share knowledge, information and experiences on effective mental health promotion across the EU, making a difference through action on the ground.
