The deadline for submission of proposals is 19 May 2006.

A budget of € 43 million has been set aside for the call and projects shall not exceed three years.

An Information Day for potential project submitters covering the implementation of the Public Health Programme was held on Wednesday 22 February 2006.

2006 Call for proposals in the field of Public Health

Heart of Mersey www.heartofmersey.org together with the North West of England Health Brussels Office, are developing a European health project for submission to the above call for proposals.

This project will be looking at the part Sports Stadia can play in Community Health and regeneration across Europe.

Heart of Mersey is building a track record of delivering on European projects. We are already a partner in the Community Initiative URBACT programme and have recently submitted a proposal for a research project in FP6 with various European partners.

2006 Call for proposals in the field of Public Health

We look for partners to submit a PH2006 proposal to put the basis of a Center of Reference aiming to develop Quality Assurance Guidelines of Voluntary Counseling and Testing (VCT) for HIV and other STIs in Eastern European countries: Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Poland, Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia.
