The conference aims to examine how factors such as tobacco and cholesterol, risk groups of women and people with diabetes have to be taken into account in order to achieve a comprehensive Cardiovascular disease (CVD) strategy.
National strategies were presented in order to share experience, identify gaps and give recommendations for an overall European strategy.
The results and findings of the conference are published and distributed to the European decision-makers.
