The IPPF European Network, Lund University and the WHO Regional Office for Europe, have formed a partnership in order to promote the sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) of youth across Europe. The project, which builds on existing research in the field, sets out to provide an overall picture of the patterns and trends across the region in order to develop new and innovative ways to reach young people with SRHR information and services, and to inform, support and advance policy development.

EPHA has been subcontracted to provide communication services and assistance in the dissemination aspects of the project. EPHA will provide support to many of the project’s communication, media and policy activities. More specifically, EPHA will:

- Support the development of a web game for young people on SRHR issues in Europe. This will include facilitating an online discussion with members of the youth committee, attending and providing input to the planning meeting with young people, and managing the work of the designer
- Develop a web model for policy makers on youth SRHR policies (in the form of a decision making flow chart). The content for the web model will be developed by IPPF EN during the consultations on the youth SRHR policy framework and guidelines, with input from EPHA
- Provide media training to participants from across Europe attending a regional advocacy workshop on SRHR and youth (based on the WHCA Action Guide ‘Working with the Media’)
- Draft a press release based on material provided by IPPF EN on project research results for Brussels-based European and international media, and to issue this to the EPHA press list
- Promote and disseminate information about the project as widely as possible through ongoing communication activities and to utilize EPHA’s existing contacts and networks as much as possible
